Funds for an International Conference/Colloquium during the 2022-2023 Academic Year
Deadline: March 18, 2022
Through the Provost Office of Global Affairs, limited funding will be awarded for the 2022-2023 academic year to host an international conference or colloquium on campus. The event should focus on global issues, bringing together scholars with an interdisciplinary and international perspective. The funds are intended to help defray administrative and logistical costs associated with hosting the event, exclusive of accommodations and transportation for participants.
Interested faculty members should submit:
- An overview of the conference including its theme and goals.
- An explanation of how it will be both interdisciplinary and international in focus.
- Examples of scholars who might/will be participating.
- A detailed budget of the cost of the event.
Please note that a brief report will be due one month after the event describing the goals, participants, and outcomes.
Please send all proposals to Kline Harrison, Associate Provost for Global Affairs at firstname.lastname@example.org or c/o the Provost’s Office. A committee will make the final selection.
If you have any questions, please contact Kline at the above e-mail address or at x4907.
