Funds for Visiting International Scholars in Fall 2022
Deadline: March 18, 2022
Through the Provost Office of Global Affairs, limited funding will be awarded for the Fall 2022 semester to support linkages between Wake Forest University and scholars from outside the US. These linkages may include invitations to the international scholars for presentations, lectures, short research projects, or other types of collaboration for less than 10 days. Available funds are not adequate to support/hire semester- or year-long visiting scholars.
Interested faculty members should submit:
- A statement outlining the linkage/type of collaboration between the international scholar(s) and Wake Forest University.
- The CV of the international scholar.
- A detailed budget of the cost of the collaboration.
In preparing your budget, please note that Guest Apartments on campus may be available at the following rates:
Weekly – $300
Nightly – $75
Also, please note that a brief evaluation/results report will be due one month after the collaboration ends. Also note that these funds are not designed to cover any costs of the collaboration incurred by WFU faculty members.
Please send all proposals to Kline Harrison, Associate Provost for Global Affairs at email@example.com or c/o the Provost’s Office. A committee will make the final selection.
If you have any questions, please contact Kline at the above e-mail address or at x4907.
