New Program Proposal Application
The application process
For successful approval of a new summer/short-term program, you must submit a complete program proposal to the faculty Study Away Committee for evaluation. A complete program proposal consists of the following:
- Application for a New Study Away Program (provided by GPS)
- Syllabus of the class
- Draft of abroad itinerary
- Draft of budget and program cost estimate (template available from GPS)
- CV
- Endorsement from Chair
Items like the proposal application and budget template will be given to you from GPS. It is strongly recommended that you meet with GPS first to discuss proposal requirements and strategies for successful submission.
If you believe you are ready to start a proposal, please contact GPS (gps@wfu.edu; 336-758-5938) to schedule a time to discuss the process in further detail. At this meeting, you will be provided with the new program application and budget template.
