QEP Initiative: Global Village

Description

Global Village is a living and learning community (LLC) that gives a diverse group of domestic and international students the opportunity to collaborate and explore global themes through curricular and co-curricular experiences. Twenty-four students commit to social, cultural, and intellectual development to deepen cross-cultural understanding and foster engagement both inside and outside the residential community.

Intercultural Inquiry

Students will be able to interpret global events, values, and practices from multiple cultural perspectives.

Community Interaction

Students will be able to collaborate across diverse cultures and settings to address complex global challenges.

Students will be able to formulate solutions to global challenges through informed decision-making and reflection.
