Registration Details
General Conference registration for Thursday – Saturday, February 18-20, 2027, includes:
Thursday evening Plenary and Welcome Reception
Friday light breakfast, buffet lunch and coffee breaks
Saturday light breakfast, buffet lunch and coffee break
Limited shuttle service from select hotels and/or free parking on the WFU campus.
Registration for a Pre-Conference Workshop includes morning coffee and lunch.
- The Registration Grant request form will be available once registration opens in October.
- If some financial assistance is needed for you to attend WISE, we encourage you to apply for a Registration Grant. It is best to register for WISE Conference after you receive a decision about your grant application.
- A timeline for decisions is provided on the application. Each year funds are exhausted so the sooner you apply, the greater your chances are of receiving a grant.
- In alignment with Wake Forest University’s commitment to cultivate an inclusive environment and to support perspectives from multiple areas, financial support is designated for the WISE Conference through full & partial conference registration grants, which cover only the cost of registration for the general WISE Conference or a Conference Workshop.
- Grant recipients and/or their institution are responsible for all other costs related to the conference (travel, non-included meals, accommodations, incidentals).
- General Conference: If your institution/organization has six or more attendees participating in WISE Conference, we offer a complimentary registration to one member of your group.
- Pre-Conference Workshop: If your institution/organization has three or more people attending a Workshop, we offer a complimentary registration to one member of your group.
- We are also able to provide an invoice for registration costs. Contact for details.
Changing Registration
To make changes after completing your registration, please revisit the registration link and enter your confirmation number to proceed. If you have forgotten your confirmation number, simply revisit our registration site and submit a request to have it resent to you. Questions? Email or call 336-758-5938.
Refund Policy
If you need to cancel your registration, please revisit the registration link and enter your confirmation number to proceed. Refunds for withdrawal from the Pre-Conference Workshops and/or General Conference will be made based on this schedule:
- Requests made on or before January 22, 2027: Registration and workshop fees will be refunded 85%
- Requests made January 23 – 31, 2027: Registration and workshop fees will be refunded 70%
- Beginning February 1, 2026: No refunds given
NOTES:
- If WISE Conference cancels due to local public health concerns, registrants will receive a 95% refund of registration payment.
- WISE does not reimburse for individual travel and lodging expenses incurred in conjunction with the conference.
Refund Process:
Eligible credit card refunds will be processed within 72 business hours after receipt. For eligible check refunds, please allow up to 45 business days for processing.
Conference registration does not include accommodations.

WFU EMPLOYEE COMPLIMENTARY REGISTRATION
Wake Forest University and Wake Forest School of Medicine faculty, staff, and students receive complimentary registration to WISE Conference; however, WFU participants must register using their Wake Forest email address through the WISE Cvent site.
Pre-Conference Workshops, are not included in the complimentary registration for Wake Forest University attendees. WFU personnel are welcome to register for an enriching Pre-Conference Workshop at their own or approved departmental expense. A limited number of grants (see tab above) are available for WFU faculty/staff to attend a Workshop. Contact for information on how to apply.
